OBIC Solutions is committed to providing our customers and communities with high-quality, cost-effective products and alternative to protect new and existing structures. We want to partner in rehabilitating and rescuing India’s infrastructure, protecting it from the long-term and defending it against costly failures.

OBIC Solutions is partnering with a retired chemistry department head from IIT Bangalore to provide patented waterproofing and Solar Heat Reflective Coating systems which are proven to reduce roof and ambient temperatures.  This saves energy and reduces cooling costs, while minimizing wear and tear, stopping leaks and cracks, preventing growth of bio-organisms and reducing the carbon footprint. OBIC Solutions is exploring manufacturing polyurea's in India for use in the wider Asian markets in partnership with OBIC, LLC (USA).


2019

Joshua Reed and Dustin Schlachter grew up together in the same small town and found themselves reconnecting over coffee after nearly two decades apart. Despite taking different paths after high school, with Joshua pursuing higher education and Dustin joining his father's business, their life journeys crossed again.


During their conversation, Dustin mentioned the potential expansion of his coating company into India. Excited by the opportunity and eager to contribute, Joshua offered to spearhead the endeavor. Having undergone training at OBIC in 2019 and becoming a certified installer for OBIC polyurea products in 2022, Joshua possessed what was needed to lay the groundwork for OBIC Solutions Private Limited in India.


With Joshua's knowledge and determination, coupled with Dustin's business acumen and support, they began to lay the foundation for their ambitious venture. Together, they worked on assembling the pieces needed to turn their dream of expanding into India into a reality, putting in the effort to ensure the success of OBIC Solutions Private Limited in the Indian market.


2020

Despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, Joshua Reed and Dustin Schlachter persevered in their endeavor to establish OBIC Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in India. In December 2020, their dream became a reality as the company was officially established.


Understanding the importance of effective marketing and development in the competitive business landscape, they wasted no time in hiring a reputable marketing firm to assist with the ongoing growth and development of OBIC Solutions Pvt. Ltd. This strategic decision aimed to ensure that their products and services would be effectively promoted and showcased to potential clients in the Indian market.


2021

At the beginning of the year, OBIC Solutions Pvt. Ltd. officially opened its doors for business in India. With operations underway, Joshua Reed wasted no time in ensuring the smooth execution of their initial projects. Recognizing the importance of having a capable team on-site to oversee operations, Joshua promptly hired a skilled site manager.


Additionally, Joshua began the process of assembling installation teams comprised of qualified individuals trained in the application of the OBICCool products. These teams would be responsible for carrying out the installation of coatings for various projects, ensuring that OBIC Solutions Pvt. Ltd. delivered high-quality results to its clients.


By focusing on building a competent and dedicated team, Joshua aimed to establish OBIC Solutions Pvt. Ltd. as a reliable and trusted provider of coating solutions in the Indian market. With the groundwork laid and the team in place, the company was well-positioned to tackle its initial projects and lay the foundation for future success.


2022

With the goal of maintaining momentum and driving continued growth, there was a strategic decision to hire two sales associates.


These sales associates would be tasked with actively seeking out new business opportunities, building relationships with contractors, and promoting OBIC Solutions' products and services. Their roles would also involve providing support to existing clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.


By bolstering the sales team with additional resources, the aim was to intensify the company's focus on expanding its client base and distribution network across India. Top of Form

 

2023

Recognizing the potential of the Asian markets, particularly in countries experiencing rapid industrialization and infrastructure development, they decided to introduce OBICCool material internationally.


OBICCool, known for its high-performance cooling properties and durability, presented a valuable solution for a wide range of applications, including industrial and commercial projects in the Asian markets. Leveraging their growing network and distribution channels, OBIC Solutions initiated the process of shipping OBICCool material to various countries across Asia.


By tapping into the Asian markets, OBIC Solutions aimed to further solidify its position as a leading provider of innovative coating solutions.


With OBICCool making an impact in the Asian markets, the team was poised to capitalize on the opportunities presented by the growing demand for high-quality coating materials in the region. This strategic move underscored OBIC Solutions commitment to innovation, excellence, and international growth.
